Stanford Hospital Ex-Worker Arrested, Accused Of Groping Patients Under Anesthesia

The 55-year-old operating room technician worked at a surgical center in Redwood City.

By Bay City News Service:

A former Stanford Hospital employee was arrested this week after he allegedly groped patients at a surgical center in Redwood City while they were under anesthesia, police said.

Police said Monday they arrested Fremont resident Robert Lastinger, a 55-year-old operating room technician, on suspicion of four counts of sexual battery and booked him into San Mateo County Jail. His arrest came after employees at Stanford Hospital’s Outpatient Surgery Center reported seeing him inappropriately touch male patients while they were recovering from anesthesia.
