Suspect at Large after Attempted Home Burglary in Millbrae
The suspected burglar was described as a black man in his late teens or early 20s.

Deputies are searching for a person suspected of attempting to break into a home Monday morning in Millbrae, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
A person who lives near the intersection of Frontera Way and Sebastian Drive called the sheriff’s office at about 9:50 a.m. to report an attempted burglary of her home, sheriff’s officials said.
The victim said she saw a late teen or early 20-year-old black man in a gray hooded sweatshirt in her backyard, according to sheriff’s officials.

Sheriff’s officials said the victim then heard the glass in her rear bedroom window break and the home’s alarm go off. The victim said after the alarm went off the suspect fled.
Deputies did not find anyone when they canvassed the area near the home, according to the sheriff’s office.
