On August 11, 2018, at approximately 12:22 p.m., an adult female reported to San Bruno Police Officers that she believed that she had been videotaped without her knowledge while engaging in consensual sexual activity with a male subject she had recently met.

A subsequent investigation corroborated the victim’s report and identified the suspect as thirty-one year old San Bruno resident Scott Michael Inouye. Inouye was arrested and booked at the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to the unlawful surreptitious recordings of sexual conduct.

This investigation has also revealed that there may be additional subjects who have been victimized by the suspect. A photo of Inouye is included with this release.
