Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, it looks like there could be a good window at some point. We're definitely seeing some more swell in the water today, but we're still dealing with those extreme tides.
It's starting off mostly clean and glassy, with a combination of some modest west northwest swell, some northwest energy and minor southerly swell in the background. That's giving us some pretty broken-up lines, with some good shoulders to grab.

Most San Clemente spots are seeing waist- to chest-high waves, with the focal points pulling shoulder-high waves, with a few plus sets.
At 9:26 this morning the tide pushes up to a 5.4 high which will have many spots pretty full and off to a slow start. The tide then drains out to a negative 0.3 low at 4:07 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, you'll want to throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.
See ya in the water!
