Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, can someone please put a quarter in the machine? Yep, it's looking like we're dealing with another day of minimal swell out there.
The good news: We're starting off with some clean and glassy conditions, but with the approaching storms expected over the next couple of days, this could be the last clean day for a little while.

There's a small mix of minor west northwest energy and a little southerly swell in the water. That recipe is making for some soft, sectiony lines that are breaking close to shore, but should improve and steepen as that tide drops later in the day.
Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to thigh-high, with the top combo breaks pulling a few waist-high waves, with not much more than that.

At 6:29 this morning the tide climbed up to a 5.9 high which will have many spots pretty swamped or even shut down early to mid morning. The tide then drains out to a negative 1.0 low at 1:41 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, break out at least a 3/2 full or a 4/3 and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!
