5 Car Crash On I-880 Snarls Traffic

HAYWARD, CA — The CHP reports that 1 5 vehicle crash on southbound Interstate Highway 880 has traffic all bunched up. The crash is located near the A Street offramp.

An ambulance has been sent to the scene.

Initially, at 7:25, three lanes were blocked. That has improved to just one lane being impassable.

There's no word on how long it will take to get all of the vehicles cleared out.
