A Pirate's Life For Me

Roosevelt Elementary School hosts pirate themed Fall Festival

On Saturday books were put aside and Roosevelt Elementary School Principal Victoria Forrester was put in the dunk tank.

The activities were part of Roosevelt's annual Fall Festival.

There was plenty to do throughout the day.  A large climbing wall was erected, bounce houses were inflated and games were played.

To ensure all Roosevelt students were able to take part, each received 10 game tickets and certificates for a free meal. Prices, though, were fair as $6 got you a tri-tip sandwich meal.

Volunteers were brought in from area high schools from service groups and volunteer clubs.
