To the AUSD Staff and Community,
After much reflection on my part, I have decided to return to being an Elementary School Principal. I have accepted a position at Garfield Elementary in San Leandro starting in the fall. I have therefore resigned my position as Albany's Director of Curriculum and Instruction. My final day will be June 30.
It has been an honor to work with you over the past 4 years serving the Albany community. I wish all of you and AUSD much success in the future.
Sincerely,
Lynda Hornada
