
Kick off the holiday season, hear some great Celtic music and help a great cause all in one evening. Holy Cross Episcopal Church at 19179 Center Street in Castro Valley is hosting its annual St. Andrew’s Day celebration featuring WinterDance by Molly’s Revenge, a performance of Christmas music, song and dance on Saturday, November 29, the first Sunday of Advent. This year the beneficiary of the concert proceeds is the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition and helping in caring for a family in need of a permanent home.
The evening starts with a buffet dinner of tri-tip, salmon and other culinary delights. There will be kid friendly food and a bounce house to keep the wee lads and lassies entertained during the pre-concert festivities that will include Celtic music and Scottish dancing. Doors for dinner open at 5:00 p.m. with dinner being served from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
Molly’s Revenge with Irish dancers will present an evening of music and dance associated with the festive season. The performance will include Christmas songs, both old and new, all played with a Celtic twist as well as selections from the band’s new holiday album.
