Chabot Park Opening Date Set
A few of the amenities won't be ready by the opening date.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro's popular Chabot Park will reopen on Friday, Feb. 9, at 9 a.m.
Unfortunately, the disc golf course and the horseshoe pits won't be ready by then because of muddy conditions. Workers can't get heavy equipment into the area to complete the work.
Reservations are being taken for picnic areas from April 1 through October 31.
