Christine Chabiel Dargahi
Long time educator, Dargahi masterfully transforms found objects into treasures, giving new life and purpose to discarded objects. She has a keen eye for finding unusual items, changing them into beautiful artifacts.Her artwork ranges from acrylic painted gourds, wood animals, and ceramics to paintings on canvas. Dargahi’s intention is to amaze the viewer through color and design that reflects her latina heritage. Her artwork has been featured in the Safeway Hispanic calendar.
Anna W. Edwards
A painter known for large scale and miniature abstract paintings and collages, Edwards has focused on the beauty and sounds and tension of the urban landscape. Edwards, inspired by the awesomeness of the 2008 California fires, depicts the, color, power, chaos and serenity that ensues in such devastation.
