
The story of Salome and her murderous desire for John the Baptist has fascinated and shocked us for centuries. This new play is inspired by versions of the Salome story from the playwright Oscar Wilde and the French novelist Gustave Flaubert--both of whom knew something about shocking audiences. Bringing this riveting tale of vengeance and faith into a new century and with some new twists will make it all the more unforgettable.
