San Leandro North Area Home and Garden Tour June 12th

The San Leandro Home and Garden Tour Association presents a self guided tour of several historic and newly renovated homes and gardens on Sunday, June 12th.  Tickets are $20 (cash or check only) and are available in advance (see locations below).  All proceeds to benefit the George Mark Children's House.  Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and be aware that homes are not wheelchair-accessible.  Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended.  No interior photographs are permitted.

Tickets may also be purchased the day of the Home Tour at 93 Broadmoor, San Leandro.

All proceeds benefit George Mark Children's House: 

a nonprofit organization that provides the gift of time to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families – time for kids to be just kids and parents to be “mom” and “dad”, instead of round-the-clock caregivers.

We serve as a medical model for interdisciplinary palliative care for children and their families. We have doctors and nurses who provide 24/7 medical care for our children, and our Interdisciplinary Team also includes a licensed social worker, psychologist, child life specialist, and chaplain who address the emotional, social, psychological, and spiritual needs of the entire family. We support families from the time of receiving the prognosis that their child is unlikely to live into adulthood, through their journey of life, the child’s death, and beyond, with bereavement support that is not time-limited.
