Fundraiser Tuesday for Fallen Hayward Police Officer's Family

Many people wish they could do something more substantial for the family of fallen Hayward Police officer Sgt. Scott Lunger, who was gunned down last month during a traffic stop.

You have that opportunity on Tuesday. A fundraiser is being held at Famous Dave’s BBQ in Hayward:

Please come out and support this amazing fundraiser tomorrow (Tuesday)! 35% of all proceeds for tomorrow will be donated to the Fallen Heroes organization. They will be donating 100% of what we raise tomorrow to the Scott Lunger Fund. Celebrity appearances, raffle tickets can be purchased and GREAT BAR-B-QUE. See you there!

Lunger is survived by two daughters.
