Homemade Soup On A Cold Day: Photos Of The Day
Thanksgiving leftovers were transformed into a satisfying soup.

SAN LEANDRO, CA —Miyo Burnett put the carcass of her Thansgiving turkey to good use. As you see above, the start of Miyo's pot of soup. "Spent this A.M. simmering turkey broth from 1/2 the carcass & the usual onion/celery/thyme aromatics for about an hour. Then took that broth, added a few new veggies, some trimmed turkey meat, plus a few spices to make a warming turkey soup. Perfect for the chillier/wetter weather. "
And it looks delicious!
