Best of all it’s free.
The horse demonstrations will feature a variety of breeds—everything from minis and therapeutic horses to Arabian horse drill teams (some even dressed as Easter bunnies).

Vendor Alley will delight you with diverse crafts, great shopping, a snack shack, a tri-tip BBQ lunch, and even petting zoos. Plus, there will be live music. I don’t think it gets much better.
The greater East Bay seems so built up—so suburban—that unless you are already involved with horses, it’s easy not to notice that the equine world exists. But it does, and if you haven’t been exposed to it already, then Saturday, April 7, may just be the day for you to do it.
Winston Churchill said “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” You are cordially invited to explore that possibility.
Discover what the world of horses is all about. Opening ceremony is at 11 a.m. following the completion of the 10 a.m. The farm and community center are located at 301 North San Carlos Dr. in Walnut Creek. Just look for the mini horses and follow them to Horse Faire.
