Patrons can place a hold on materials through the online catalog or by calling the virtual reference phone line at (510) 577-3971 during regular business hours. Patrons must then wait for a notification that the materials are ready to be picked up.

A notice will come by email or phone, depending on the preference a patron chooses for their library account.
