
SAN LEANDRO, CA —A motorcyclist died after colliding with two different vans on Interstate Highway 880 in San Leandro Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was heading north on Highway 880 near Davis Street around 4:05 p.m. when he struck the side of a Ford van. After that, he struck the side of a Volkswagen van. The occupants of both vans were uninjured, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead around 4:20 p.m. His name and city of residence are being withheld until relatives can be notified, according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert was issued around 4:15 p.m. and lifted around 6:15 p.m.
