Public School Officials To Hold Informal Chat

San Leandro Unified School District Superintendent Cindy M. Cathey invites parents, community members and local business owners to join staff and school board members in an informal chat about the state of the schools.

Although Board meetings are open to the public, their formality precludes a true two-way conversation.

It is hoped that this open format will provide an opportunity to share ideas and concerns, and ask about programs and services.

Two chats have been scheduled so far:

• Tuesday, April 24th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM
• Saturday, May 5th from 9:30 - 10:30

Both meetings will be held in the Lecture Hall at the San Leandro Main Library, located at 300 Estudillo Avenue.
