San Leandro Youth Advisory Commission Awarding Youth Mini Grants

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The City of San Leandro’s Youth Advisory Commission is offering Youth Mini Grants, a program to provide grant funding for local youth programs.

Through volunteering and fundraising, the YAC was able to raise $1,000. Additional funds were donated by the San Leandro Optimist Club, a local service club.

The YAC is accepting applications until Monday, May 2 by 12 p.m. Award amounts will vary depending on need and available money. All applications must have an adult sponsor, serve San Leandro youth (grades 6-12) and present a proposal at a YAC meeting on May 3.
