Senior Center To Host Open House In San Leandro
Coinciding with Older Americans Month, this drop-in event will include tours, refreshment and dogs from a local rescue.
SAN LEANDRO, CA – The San Leandro Senior Community Center celebrates Older Americans Month with an open house on Thursday, May 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the facility at 13909 East 14th St. in San Leandro.
Explore the center, enjoy light refreshments and learn how to "Engage at Every Age" -- this year's theme for Older Americans Month.
Visitors also can check out various classes and activities in action, including "Alexander Technique" and "Zumba Gold." San Leandro-based Nobody's Perfekt Dog rescue will have adoptable dogs available for a meet-and-greet.
