The San Leandro High School Breakdancing Club held a "Breakdancing Cypher" in the San Leandro Library's Karp Room on Tuesday evening.
It was organized by club leader Henry Wijaya, who said it was not a performance event but just a gathering of young people who wanted to show their moves and learn new ones.
About 50 of young people attended. The room was filled with adrenaline and energy as a new generation of dancers spun and flipped on the 30-square foot wooden floor.
