Volunteers, Donations Needed For Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro's Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 27. A delicious holiday lunch will be served to 500 seniors at the Senior Community Center and Marina Community Center.

If you can't make it that day, donations are being accepted. Suggested donations include:

• Savory Snack: Mini Pretzels, Original Chex Mix, crackers, etc.
• Plates and Cups: 10 - 3/8 inch dinner plates and 6 oz. cups for hot/cold drinks
• Raffle Prizes: suggested $10 - $25 gift cards to grocery stores, restaurants, retail stores/outlets or small gift baskets. Well packaged/non-perishable food items are always a big hit.
