He's replacing interim chief Susan Manheimer, who received high praise from City Manager Fran Robustelli, “We knew we were in the right hands with Chief Manheimer. Chief Manheimer is an advocate for change, a community builder, with a laser focus on improving the quality of life for the people she serves. We not only thank her for aiding the City of San Leandro during this transition, but for leading by example and ushering in a bright future for the men and women of the San Leandro Police Department.”
