Holiday Charity Drives: Where to Donate Locally

In the spirit of the holidays, San Marino schools and local businesses are hosting food, toy, and clothing drives to help the less fortunate. Support San Marino’s community efforts and give what you can this holiday season.

When: Now until Friday, Dec. 9

Benefiting: Union Station in Pasadena

Collecting: Non-perishables including cans and boxes (spaghetti, stuffing, etc.)

Drop-off Location: Main Office



When: Now until Friday, Dec. 9

Benefiting: Santa Teresita Hospital in Duarte

Collecting: Cans and dried goods

Drop-off Location: Main Office

San Marino High School

When: Now until Friday, Dec. 16

Benefiting: Orphanage in Mexico

Collecting: Personal hygiene supplies (soap, hairspray, etc.), school supplies, and small toys

Drop-off Location- Main Office

When: Now until Friday, Dec. 9

Benefiting: Foothill Unity Center serving the San Gabriel Valley

Collecting: Non-perishable foods including cans and dried goods

Drop-off Location: Main Office

Additional Notes: Donation checks can be made to "Foothill Unity Center" and a tax write-off is available.

When: Now until Sunday, Dec. 18

Collecting: Toys and other gift items

Benefiting: San Gabriel Mission- Christian Services

Drop-Off Location: Main Office

Additional notes: Look for the Christmas tree at the side door of the Church and take a paper ornament which indicates the age of the child and whether it is for a boy or a girl.

When: Now until Wednesday, Dec. 21

Collecting: New, unwrapped toys

Benefiting: Five Acres

Drop-off Location: Box inside the restaurant

When: Dec. 19-22

Collecting: New pajamas for Pasadena families (Sizes: infants to size 16)

Benefiting: Pajama Program

Drop-off Location: Main Office
