The past, present and future of the oldest home in San Marino.
Built in the mid 1840s, the historic Michael White Adobe is the oldest home in San Marino. While the structure has gone unused for many years, the Friends of the Michael White Adobe are moving forward with their plans to revitalize the 166-year-old, 930-square-foot structure. The structure, which was previously used to house records for the San Marino Historical Society, will likely be transformed into a hall-of-fame that will feature rotating exhibits of various High School achievements in academics, athletics and the arts. The Friends of the Michael White Adobe is expected to present their next plans for the project this Fall.
