Eighteen days after going missing, loved ones of a man from the unincorporated San Mateo County town of Montara continue their search for Richard Moss. Meanwhile, sheriff's officials say Moss, 22, appears to have voluntarily left home and is being asked to check in with family and friends, a sheriff's spokesman said Sunday.
Moss was last seen May 25 at his home by his mother and he left in a 2001 blue Hyundai Tiburon with California license plate No. 5DWY562. Moss is described as a white man with hazel eyes, dark brown hair, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 pounds.
"We are heartbroken as the search for Richard Moss continues," a GoFundMe page that's raising search funds and reward money states. "Richard disappeared on his way to work and has not been seen or heard from since."
