Episcopal Senior Communities Celebrated 50 Years of Service at St. Paul's Towers

Local Officials Honored ESC, Residents, Staff and Supporters for Excellent Service to Seniors

(Oakland, Calif., November 6, 2015) --- On November 5, 2015 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., esteemed officials and community leaders gathered at St. Paul’s Towers in Oakland and honored Episcopal Senior Communities’ 50th Anniversary at its flagship senior community in the East Bay.

ESC held a celebration in tribute to those who have been instrumental in improving the lives of seniors throughout the organization’s 50 years of service. Residents, five local officials, and ESC leadership rejoiced and reminisced about all of ESC’s achievements such as: ElderWISE program, Senior Resources @ Home, Senior Center Without Walls, and the Senior Produce Markets, which led to enhancement of over 10,000 senior lives across the greater Bay Area.

St. Paul’s Towers has made its residents feel right at home since 1966 with 200 apartments and a connection to the culturally rich city of Oakland. This community offers both independent and assisted living with access to a full-service medical center, shopping, dining, theater, museums and galleries.
