Colleges are seeing more people with autism spectrum disorders, the kinds of people who, in the past may not have had the opportunity to go on to college.
College faculty, staff and administrators need to understand the needs of this neurodiverse population to assist students in achieving their college potential.
Attendees will develop a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders, the challenges that may be present for these students on a college campus, and discuss specific strategies students and instructors may employ to help remove barriers to success.
