Pied Piper Players' Seussical the Musical

Pied Piper Players will be staging Seussical, a charming musical which brings to life many beloved characters from the stories of Dr. Seuss.  This lively, family perfect show is filled with toe-tapping tunes in many styles ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and rhythm and blues, and will be staged at the Bayside Performing Arts Center in San Mateo, from November 11-20  (Curtain: at 7:00 PM Fridays and Saturday November 12; and at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19 and Sundays.)  Join us for a special talkback with the cast and director after the Sunday, November 13 matinee performance.
 
JoJo, a young Who and great “thinker of strange and wonderful thinks” brings the story together.  You’ll see The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, the Sour Kangaroo and the Whos of Whoville and many others in a story largely based on Horton Hears a Who and Horton Hatches an Egg.
 
The show features a cast of 70 actors, ranging in ages from four to adult, including (your SCHOOL or COMMUNITY)’s own (John Jones and Jane Smith).  The show runs approximately two hours, including intermission, and is appropriate for all ages.
