Ghirardelli Square's New, Summer Community Beer Garden (Open Every Summer Weekend Thursday-Sunday)
Summer Activation Sponsored by Lagunitas Brewing Company and Hint Water

What: Over Memorial Day Weekend, Ghirardelli Square opened a 13 week-long community beer garden sponsored by Bay Area-based Lagunitas Brewing Company and Hint Water.
Beginning on Thursday, June 2, the community beer garden, located outdoors in Ghirardelli Square’s West Plaza, will operate for the next twelve weeks from Thursday through Sunday, beginning at noon and closing at 7 p.m. The activation concludes after Labor Day Weekend.
Fifty percent of proceeds from the beer garden will benefit an array of local charitable organizations. Over Memorial Day weekend and the weekend of June 2nd, proceeds from beer sales will go to SOMA Arts, a local nonprofit that cultivates access to the arts within the Bay Area by collaborating with community-focused artists and organizations.

The outdoor space will feature Lagunitas beers on tap for $7, including IPA, Pils, A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin' and Lucky 13, in addition to complimentary pretzels, peanuts and hint water. Patrons will also be able to enjoy a rotating selection of live music from local Bay Area musicians. Entry to the community beer garden is free and picnicking is allowed.
