• Kitchen Knife-Wielding Man Threatens To Kill Stranger: Police (patch.com) — San Mateo residents are learning more about a frightening confrontation on Peninsula Avenue, where police say a local man allegedly waved a kitchen knife and threatened to kill a stranger walking down the street. Officers quickly tracked the suspect to a nearby apartment complex, arrested him, and booked him into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of criminal threats and brandishing a deadly weapon.
