Pilot Walks Away Uninjured in Small Plane Crash in San Carlos
The crash happened at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday at San Carlos Airport.

An aircraft crashed this evening after leaving San Carlos Airport, according to the San Mateo County Public Safety Communications office and the Federal Aviation Administration.
A public safety communications official said the fixed wing single-engine plane plane crashed at about 8:40 p.m. Initial reports said no one was injured, the official and FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.
Gregor said the Falco F8L with tail number N805SH went down after leaving San Carlos with one person on board.

The plane’s registered owner is listed as the Stockton Field Aviation Museum, according to the FAA. The plane is listed as experimental/amateur built and listed as airworthy in 1985, according to FlightAware.com
