San Mateo County Reports 104 New Coronavirus Cases, No Deaths
There were 21 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the county as of Monday, of which seven were being treated in intensive care units.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County Health reported 104 additional coronavirus cases Monday.
The latest announcement, which covers a two-day period going back to Saturday, brings the countywide case count of those who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 to 2,825.
There county reported no new coronavirus-related fatalities, leaving its COVID-19 death toll at 103.

Elsewhere around the Bay Area and beyond, the Monterey Bay Aquarium will reopen next month after closing in March because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, aquarium officials announced Monday.
The aquarium will reopen to the general public on July 13after member and donor events starting July 9, and ticket sales will begin online July 1 at montereybayaquarium.org.
The 2020 PGA Championship will be held at San Francisco's TPC Harding Park golf course without spectators Aug. 6-9 after being postponed earlier this year amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The Santa Clara Public Health Department will administer free walk-up COVID-19 testing at the SAP Center — the "Shark Tank" — in downtown San Jose for five days this week, starting Tuesday. Testing at SAP Center will be available from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Drive-up COVID-19 testing is available for people who live and work in St. Helena and are symptomatic or have had contact with a confirmed case of novel coronavirus, officials announced. To reserve an appointment for testing, email coronavirus@countyofnapa.org
There were 179,606 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 5,524 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Monday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The United States had 2,306,247 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 120,351 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Monday afternoon.
