San Mateo County Reports 39 New COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths

The latest report brings the countywide total of those who have tested positive for COVID-19 to 1,464.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County Health reported 39 additional cases of the new coronavirus Monday.

The most recent reporting covers a two-day period going back to Saturday and brings the countywide total of those who have tested positive for COVID-19 to 1,464.

The county reported no additional COVID-19-related fatalities, leaving the county's death toll at 56.

There are currently 58 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in San Mateo County, of which 44 are being treated in intensive care units.

Elsewhere in the Bay Area, Alameda County on Monday announced the addition of four new COVID-19 coronavirus testing sites in East Oakland, Hayward and unincorporated Ashland/Cherryland.
