San Mateo's Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

SAN MATEO, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 7 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West southwest wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
