WATCH: Cop Pulls Driver In Nick Of Time From Oncoming Caltrain
Incredible video shows officer's heroic effort dragging man from the tracks today in Sunnyvale.

A police officer risked his life Monday to pull a person from in front of an oncoming train just before it smashed into an unoccupied vehicle on the tracks in Sunnyvale, according to Caltrain officials.
The heroism was captured on video.

At 6:53 p.m. Caltrain tweeted that tracks had been shut down in both directions after northbound train No. 385 struck a vehicle at the Mary Avenue crossing, which is in Sunnyvale. Later, southbound train No. 274 struck the car.
Transit police are on the scene and a drunk driver may be responsible for the incident, according to Caltrain officials.

Trains will be single-tracking on the northbound tracks, but delays are expected. Further details were not immediately available.
