6 More Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Marin County
Six more confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported Saturday in Marin, bringing the county's total to 74.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Six more confirmed cases of the new coronavirus were reported Saturday in Marin, bringing the county's total to 74. That's an 8.8% increase from Friday, when public health officials announced the first COVID-19 death in the county.
The Marin man was in his 70s and had been hospitalized for nearly three weeks, according to Dr. Lisa Santora, the county's deputy health officer. He was reported as the first COVID-19 case in a Marin resident after being exposed to the virus as a passenger on a cruise ship.

Marin has tested 681 people for coronavirus at the county's drive-thru testing site. This number doesn't include the tests conducted by hospitals and medical facilities.
Nine Marin residents have been hospitalized due to the virus.

Of those with confirmed cases in the county, two are 18 or younger, 10 are between 19 and 34 years old, 13 are between 35 and 49 years old, 25 are between 50 and 64 years old, and 24 are 65 or older.
