Come for a lively discussion on Sunday 11/1 at 11:15 am at 1510 Fifth Ave., San Rafael, on how complex stories and themes of modern animation can lead to deep spiritual formation, just as the first followers were transformed by Jesus’ parables. Doug Sides will lead the discussion on Avatar: The Legend of Korra; how Korra’s personal struggles show that we can find meaning and strength in our brokenness.
Anime fans and curious people of all ages are welcome.
Free and open to the public. The church is handicap accessible.
