Canal Karate Program Takes Home the Most Victories in National Championship
Karate members celebrated their recent victories from the United States Federation National Championships.
The Canal Karate program recently took home more trophies than any other program at the United States Federation National Championships.
Karate members recently celebrated with family and friends back in San Rafael after receiving their victories at the Shotokan Karate-Do International on March 25 in Sunnyvale California.
The program, under the direction of Sensei Hugo Que, was created in 2002 and meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening at the . Classes range from complete beginners to advanced students.

“Participants do not only learn a martial but how to respect their peers, family and themselves, not to mention discipline and resilience, all qualities that will help them throughout their lives,” said Steve Mason, the program’s supervisor.
