Crews Quickly Extinguish Fire On Kentfield, San Rafael Border
The blaze threatened homes above Wolf Grade Road, according to fire officials. The exterior of one home was damaged. (BREAKING)
SAN RAFAEL, CA – Firefighters quickly extinguished a quarter-acre vegetation fire threatening homes on the border of Kentfield and San Rafael Thursday.
The blaze broke out on Upper Toyon Drive and threatened homes above Wolf Grade Road, according to the Marin County Fire Department. The exterior of one home was damaged.
Crews from Marin County, San Rafael, Kentfield, Ross Valley and Larkspur fire departments fought the flames, according to the Marin County Fire Department. Wolf Grade Road in Kentfield and San Rafael was closed in both directions while firefighters mopped up the fire.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Wolf Grade in Kentfield closed in both directions due to fire. Fire under control but avoid the area until further notice.
