From March 17 through March 24, Liquid Marin’s “Deal of the Week” is a dress sale to clear out fall merchandise and spring forward with new pastels. The dresses, all brand names, will be priced $10-20 and up.
On Saturday March 19, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, upstairs in the Liquid Marin studio, Ana Hyatt will teach a class called “Honoring the Sensual Body through Movement” which enlivens your body and inspires your spirit. The class, for women of all ages, encourages you to reconnect to your femininity and embrace your curves as it combines pilates, yoga and dance. Two hour class: $39. Portobello Road: The owners, who originally had an antique store on Portobello Road in London, are anxious to retire so they are having a 50 percent off sale on everything in the shop. They specialize in Asian antiques and also carry some African art, geodes, jewelry, vases, garden ornaments and much more.

: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the gang at The Flatiron. Bob and Sean Glas, and owner of Theresa and Johnny’s Leslie Burnside are slaving over the oven cooking corned beef for hours, just for you. (She wrote The Flatiron menu and is chef there too.) This Thursday, they will be serving a corned beef dinner for $7.99 which includes Robert’s Corned Beef (from San Francisco) with cabbage, carrots, and red potatoes.
They will also have corned beef sandwiches ($5.99), green beer, Guinness beer with souvenier glass, Guinness brownies, and Guinness milk shakes. Plus many other specials at the bar.
