This class teaches ARC CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. You will learn the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest. Participants will learn how to recognize and provide appropriate care for breathing emergencies and other life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Upon successful completion of all skills and written tests, participants will receive an American Red Cross certification in CPR and AED valid for 1 year.
