Il Davide Restaurant and Frank Family Vineyards Team up for an Extraordinary New-Release Winemaker Dinner

Executive Chef David Haydon and Dan Matin from Napa Valley’s Frank Family Vineyards, are planning an exclusive New-Release Winemaker Dinner on Monday, October 3rd, 2011, at Il Davide Cucina Italiana Restaurant.

 

The sumptuous five course dinner starts with Passed Appetizers and Bubbles followed by the First Course of Heirloom tomatoes, buratta, black sea salt, basil and E.V.O.O paired with Frank Family Vineyard’s 2010 Napa Chardonnay.

The second course is Scampi Bruschetta - Hobbs Pancetta wrapped gulf shrimp, lemon garlic and locally made butter served with 2009 Napa Valley Carneros Pinot Noir. Tortellini Porcine, a large tortellini filled with Colorado porcine mushrooms, black truffle cream reduction and truffle salt is the third course paired with 2009 Napa Valley Zinfandel.

Fourth Course is Pork Cheeks, Berkshire Farms pork cheeks, slow braised with ancient grain polenta and a Cabernet reduction, paired with 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Savignon.

 

Dessert and fifth course is Vanilla honey panna cotta with salted caramel and chocolate cherries served with NV Napa Valley Zinfandel Port.
