
Calling all Marin County Teachers! Teacher Open House is Thursday September 8th 4-6pm.
The Marin History Museum in collaboration with the Marin County Office of Education cordially invite you to attend the 2011 Teacher Open House. This event provides educators with an opportunity to meet with historical and non-profit agencies in the county and learn about educational resources and field trip opportunities for the coming academic year. This year's event will feature representatives from the Anne T. Kent California Room, The Marin Museum of the American Indian, the Bolinas Museum, the San Rafael Public Library, Mission San Rafael, Falkirk Cultural Center, Mill Valley Historical Society, the Marin Treks Museum, the Novato History Museum, the Hamilton Field Museum, and more! Marin County Superintendent of Schools Mary Jane Burk will also be in attendance. Teachers will also have the opportunity to view the Marin History Museum's current exhibitions, including "Then and Now: A Century of Change," and "The Marin IJ: 150 Years of Ink" and enjoy complimentary light refreshments.
