Fire Extinguished At Marin General Hospital
A fire broke out on the roof of a wing under construction at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Several Marin County fire agencies responded Friday afternoon to a
fire on the roof of a wing under construction at Marin General Hospital on Bon Air Drive in Greenbrae, a San Rafael Fire Department battalion chief said.
The fire burned roofing material, likely foam insulation and tarpaper, but was quickly controlled by construction workers, Battalion Chief Jason Hatfield said.
No one was evacuated at the hospital. The fire two-alarm was reported around 1 p.m. and was controlled by 1:13 p.m., Hatfield said.

The Central Marin Fire Department, which serves Corte Madera and Larkspur, and firefighters from San Rafael, Ross Valley, Mill Valley, Kentfield and Marin County Fire responded, Hatfield said.
