Freedom of speech and learning what LOVE really is,,,,,,

As a long time Christian, I see that the media wants to say that what Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson said was some terrible thing to say. They have said on Huff postings that "most" do not believe what he said is true,,,,,,,,sorry but he hit the nail on the head, even if he was crude and rude about it, he said what many Bible believing Christians believe and know to be scripture backed.
Saying that blacks were happy during the slavery days? Well, we all know all negro sprituals were about the slavery and endurance they went through. sometimes being beaten to death was no "fun" Phil.
They did their best to survive it. Just because they were "happy" and singing in their circumstances ,did not mean they were happy to be slaves. But that said, I believe many blacks today are riding on the coat tails of slaves of long ago. I was once married to black that did this all the time, "poor me", we were slaves,,,,,,,NO he was not a slave and had a high IQ and squandered his life in self pity.
I also know that we don't want, as Christians, to be mean in spirit,,,,,as Phil comes across as,,,,,,mean. Those in the southern bible belt are different than those in California for example. We know that Homosexuals are not going any where soon, and they have to answer for their own behavior to the same God that all Christians do. Life goes on, we may not accept that two men or two woman live as man and wife, but we also know that we do not believe the same, according to scriptures about same. Do we get as graffic as Phil did? No, we polish it all up into soft talk. We are being forced by newer laws to not speak the real truth and out loud. We avoid jail and law suits by saying very little and some Christians even join in the thinking that it is all okay, as long as we all "love one another". I would suggest that Christians learn more from their bibles about what "LOVE" really is,,,,,,in the love chapter second Cor. 13
Its like learning to love someone who is on death row and a past killer, we do not condone what that killed did when he murdered an innocent person. A mother for example may still love him as her grown child. Unconditional love does not mean we take it all in and never believe in punishment for example.

I have the freedom still to voice my opinions on a forum like this, that is good, and I hope it last for a long long time,,,,,FREEDOM OF SPEECH,,, just like what Phil was using only in a crude way.
