Group Rallies Against Foreclosures

MoveOn Marin members gathered in downtown San Rafael to rally against home foreclosures.

Despite the rain, over 40 people assembled on the steps of San Rafael City Hall Thursday to bring attention to home foreclosures.

Jenna LaFleur, joined the group holding a sign, “Wells Fargo is selling my home, but they don't own it”, referring to the legality of these foreclosure sales, the chain of ownership and the problem of robo-signing.

"Occupy Marin has been holding vigil at City Hall for the past two months, letting homeowners know they are not forgotten and letting buyers know these transactions are being watched," group member Pat Johnstone said.
