"They all need and deserve a safe, loving, and consistent place to live where they can thrive and mature."

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The Marin County Recruitment Collaborative is looking for local homes to foster children in foster care, according to county officials.

Marin County averages 80 children in foster care. Nearly two dozen are placed in homes outside of the county – even several hundred miles away.

The collaborative, which includes specialists from Marin County Health and Human Services, is hoping to bring more children in foster care back to their own communities.
