Man Accused Of Impregnating Teenage Girl In Marin County: Police
Prosecutors said the girl was 13 at the beginning of the period listed in the criminal complaint.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A 21-year-old San Rafael man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of unlawful intercourse with a minor after police received a report following the birth of the girl's child, police said.
Gerson Otoniel Culajay Nij was arrested at a hotel on Francisco Boulevard East and booked into the Marin County Jail, according to the San Rafael Police Department.
His bail was set at $10,000, and he was later released on bail.

The Marin County District Attorney's Office charged Culajay Nij with lewd or lascivious acts with a child and unlawful sexual intercourse.
Prosecutors said the crimes occurred between Aug. 3, 2023, and Feb. 28, 2025, according to the criminal complaint.
